What is the Hotel Lobby trend?
The Hotel Lobby trend draws its orange studio look from Quavo and Takeoff's performance on A COLORS SHOW. AI versions place other people into a similar duet scene.
For a version starring your own people, start with photos and a performance reference. The steps below use Hotel Lobby AI's built-in template. Preview its sound and movement before choosing a section.
1. Choose two people from your photos
Use two separate portraits or one group photo. Each face should be clear, well lit, and unobstructed. The two portraits can come from different occasions. Photo inputs accept JPG, PNG, or WebP files up to 10 MB each. Use photos of people who have agreed to appear.
Open Migos AI. For separate portraits, add one to each performer slot. For a family photo:
- Select Use a group photo instead and upload the image.
- Move one frame over Dad and the other over Mum.
- Fine-tune each frame with the arrow keys on desktop if needed.
- Confirm the selection and inspect both portraits.
This prepares both portraits inside Hotel Lobby AI, saving you the separate step of cropping and exporting two files. If a face is too small or another person overlaps it, use a clearer individual photo.
2. Arrange their positions and roles
Place Dad in Left performer and Mum in Right performer. Assign Dad Lead and Mum Support.
Want Dad on the right instead? Select Swap positions. His lead role moves with him, so you can adjust the composition without assigning the roles again.
You set each person's intended position and lead or support role separately. These settings guide generation; they do not guarantee exact gestures or lyric-by-lyric vocal handoffs.
3. Select the reference section and output settings
Keep Hotel Lobby selected for the built-in reference. Preview it, choose the start and end points, and select the output quality and frame format.
The default is Standard, 720p, 12 seconds, and 9:16. That gives our family example a short vertical format. Keep one simple performance idea for the first attempt.
When reference audio is enabled, the selected template section supplies the soundtrack. Listen to it before generating. It includes the original Hotel Lobby song only if that recording is already in the reference; choosing this mode does not separately add the song.
4. Review the quote and optionally refine the performance
At the default settings, one submission costs 10 credits; the $9.90 Single pack covers one attempt. See pricing and retry costs below before buying credits.
Select MAKE OUR RAP VIDEO and sign in if prompted. If you need credits, choose a pack or plan to continue to the final generation quote.
The quote shows your settings, credit cost, balance, and how many submissions it covers. You can proceed directly or open Edit performance to refine an individual action while keeping your selected portraits and roles.
For example, set Mum's action to:
Smile and nod beside the lead performer.
Save any changes and review the updated cost. Performance editing is optional for your first video.
5. Generate, watch, and download
Confirm the quote and select Generate. Follow the task in the studio or return to My Videos later.
When it finishes, watch the full clip with sound. Check both faces during movement, the intended positions, and the timing of gestures and mouth movements. For the anniversary idea, decide whether the performance feels right for the gift you want to send.
Download the MP4 before its displayed expiry date and open the saved file before sharing.
How much does a video cost?
New generations require paid credits. Standard at 720p for 12 seconds costs 10 credits under the current settings. On September 30, 2026, the pricing page offered:
- Single: $9.90 for 10 credits, covering one submission at those settings.
- Duo Pack: $29 for 50 credits, covering five submissions at those settings.
The Duo Pack works out to $5.80 per submission when used this way. Different models, resolutions, and durations change the quote. Another generated version requires more credits and may change other visual details; plan your budget around attempts.
Can I use my own song or reference video?
Yes. Hotel Lobby AI has separate modes for your own audio and video:
- Your own audio: upload a song or voice recording and select the passage to perform.
- Your own video: upload a motion reference and choose the section to follow.
Choose the mode before generating, and use recordings you have permission to use. Your own audio does not automatically retain the template's choreography. Adding different music to a finished clip changes its soundtrack without regenerating the mouth movements.
What if the result needs adjustment?
A face looks wrong: inspect the selected crop. Replace a blurred, obscured, or tiny face with a clearer portrait before generating again.
The arrangement is wrong: check the left/right slots and role assignments. Simplify the support person's action if it distracts from the lead.
The task is still running: open the existing task in My Videos. If it says the system is checking whether generation started, wait for that check before submitting another attempt. For a failed task, read the error and check your balance before retrying. Contact support with the displayed video ID if a recovery check is requested.
